Why would our cell phones be able to connect with our wireless router and go online but our laptops can't?

We just enter the password in our cell phone and we’re online but when we do the same with our laptops we all connect but we can’t get online

Are you sure your laptops support wireless internet? Could your router need configuration? Other than those, I have NO clue what the problem is.
