Why would you want a a projector on your mobile phone?

I highly recommend this projector for those looking for an inexpensive (relatively) multimedia experience. BRIGHT picture, great distance range (I have it at about 13 feet from wall, image is 6X8 feet approx.), GREAT for sports, no artifacts. Great for gaming also. NO (ZERO) controller delay, no more than a regular LCD panel. GREAT buy.

This projector is outstanding. The quality of the image is unsurpassed in its class and probably the next class up. One overlooked feature is the lense shift. There are no digital image manipulation controls on this projector. As long as the lense is parallel to the screen, the lense-shift will make sure it is centered. Optical lense shift is a feature usually only found on high end projectors. This projector replaced my InFocus X1 which lasted over 7 years (and is still going strong). No regrets
If one is going to ceiling mount this you may wish to purchase a longer power cord. I bought a 15 foot power cord for this for about 8 bucks so it is long enough to plug in to my power conditioner, extension cords are a bad idea. This worked great for my ceiling installation Cables To Go 09482 18 AWG Universal Power Cord, IEC320C13 to NEMA 5-15P (15 Feet) One can run cords through walls or you can do as I did and use conduit such as the product here which hides the cord and sticks on and requires no nails. Wiremold C210 White Cordmate II Kit so it looks like a nice clean installation.

Noise : That was my biggest concern before I bought it. I don’t realize this under 26decibel noise maker even exists very good

It’s twice what I wanted to spend, but I have absolutely no regrets.

I purchased the Epson Model 6100 in September of 2009, which as far as I can tell, is the predessor to this projector. I installed it in December of that year as it took some time to purchase and install a new screen, AV system, DVD, and the projector itself. Now 2.5 years later, after performing like a champ, I noticed a red bar across the bottom and a blue bar across the top of the screen. Called tech support today and was told that the problem was an LCD panel, and since it was out of warranty I had to take it 100 miles one way to an authorized Epson service center in Rockville, MD..

This setup has worked fantastic for 3 years with my 720p projector. It doesn’t matter if I played a DVD or Blu-Ray through my PS3 or a DVD/VHS through the DVD/VCR combo through the switch to the projector.

I got my money’s worth and definitely a big step in PQ than my previous PJ. This is one projector I would recommend that will give you all smiles without breaking the bank.

I’ve seen some complaints, but it didn’t seem hard to navigate, although it doesn’t let you keep tweaking options one after another as to accept a choice you have to hit the ‘menu’ button which jumps you back to the beginning.

i bought this projector based on the number of good reviews it received. the first night while watching a movie i noticed that the noise of the fan would increase to an annoying buzz every few minutes.i called the toll free 24 hour #, and by 11 am the next day they had fed exed priority a new projector and all of the free shipping materials to send the defective one back. no questions asked.

This projector was a great deal, especially compared to the in-store price at Best Buy. It’s pretty big though, but for the image quality and price that’s not a big deal. It may not be the brightest during the day time, but it still is acceptable to watch.

TI is demonstrating a prototype of a DLP pico-projector small enough to fit on finger tips.

This prototype is capable of displaying an image about the size of a sheet of paper (8.5×11 inches) in ambient light conditions and What TI DLP is demonstrating is HVGA (320×480) resolution, which is four times the resolutions of a typical mobile phone screen.

Sounds great to me! All you would need is a surround sound hat and subwoofer shoes and you could have home theater anywhere!

There are alot of reasons:

1) Imagine video conferencing.
2) The screen is larger than your phone.
3) Haven’t you seen Star Wars? Help me Obi-Wan.
4) Like video iPod users, for some reason, people like to watch video on a small screen.

very useful for presentations and showing others pics and vids instead of sharing around the phone.
